The Original Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Aston Martin first came out with the Vantage in 1977 with the production run going on until 1989. This highly sought after Aston was hailed as Britain's first super car as it could achieve a top speed of 270 kmh. The Vantage has a 5.3 liter V8 that put out 390 bhp and 550 nm of torque allowing it to hit 60 mph in 5.4 seconds.
The Vantagehas starred in numerous films umoungst them was the James Bond film "The Living Daylights" ,with lead actor Timothy Dalton, and has been spotted on the set of the new James Bond film "No Time To Die" with Daniel Craig starring as James Bond. Another one of the Vantage's more famous films was the latest Rowan Atkinson film "Johnny English Strikes Again".
The car underwent a few variations with the top of the range version being the X-Pack (as seen below) with up graded pistons by Cosworth and Nimrod racing type heads allowing the engine to produce 403 hp.
