Hennessey Unveils Crazy 1,600-hp Engine
Hennessey has lived up to its promise of delivering a 1,600 hp engine, this is around 100 horsepower more than the Bugatti Chiron (1,479 hp) and the Koenigsegg Regera (1,500 hp) making it the most powerful internal combustion engine in a production vehicle. Hennessey is planing on mounting this
7.6 liter twin-turbocharges 1,600 hp and 1,300 pound-feet engine into the new Venom F5. The F5 will be on an all new chassis made by Hennessey engineers for the first time. The all carbon fiber body weighs only 1,360kg and has a drag coefficient of 0.33. Hennessey are making this car with only one goal in mind, to break world records. The most important record that Hennessey is going for is the race to 300 miles per hour, which back in May Hennessey promised will take place this year. Only 24 examples of the Hennessey Venom F5 will be built at 1.6 million dollars each and the first 15 build slots have already been filled.
